36th Smoky Mountain Invitation Marching Band Competition

The date has been set for the 36th Smoky Mountain Invitational Marching Band Festival for 2013. The competition will be held at South-Doyle High School on Saturday, October 26th. For more information, visit our Smoky Mountain webpage.

2012-2013 Band Calendar Posted

The SDHS Band will hold summer rehearsals every Tuesday from 6:00-8:00 PM starting June 5 and will continue until the first week of band camp. Band camp will start at 9:00 AM Monday, July 23rd and end Friday, August 3rd at 12:00 PM. For a complete 2012-2013 calendar, click here.

South-Doyle Band has a rich history that can be traced back to Young High School in 1931. We've been collecting scans for this section for the past four years. Finally, the Young, South, South-Young and Doyle sections are active. The collection is far from complete, so if you have anything you think we could use, please contact us.
